JAM TECH Inc
Privacy Policy
Last updated August 28, 2026
1. Who we are
JAM TECH Inc ("JAM TECH," "we," "us") provides field-service CRM software at www.jamtechs.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use the Service, including when technicians connect Google or Microsoft calendars for availability.
Business contact: JAM TECH Inc, 6650 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC; phone 843-284-6178; email sales@jamtechs.com.
2. Information we collect
Account information. Name, email address, phone number, organization membership, and role (for example admin or field technician) when an account is created or you are invited.
Customer and job data. Information your organization enters into the Service, such as customer names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, notes, job schedules, visit status, photos, signatures, and related operational records.
Booking requests. When someone uses a public booking page, we collect the details they submit (name, contact info, service address, requested time, service selection, optional notes, and SMS consent if provided).
Calendar connections (Google / Microsoft). If you connect a calendar, we receive OAuth tokens and the email address of the connected account. For Google we request the calendar.freebusy scope so we can read busy/free availability only. We do not request access to event titles, descriptions, attendees, or other event details, and we do not create, edit, or delete calendar events through that connection.
Usage and technical data. Logs and diagnostics needed to operate and secure the Service (for example timestamps, IP-related request metadata, and error reports).
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Schedule jobs, show availability, and help avoid double-booking using free/busy data from connected calendars
- Send transactional messages (invites, password resets, job updates, booking confirmations) including SMS when consent is given
- Provide support and respond to requests
- Protect security, prevent abuse, and comply with law
We do not sell personal information. We do not use Google user data for advertising. Google Calendar free/busy data is used only to determine whether a technician is available for booking and job assignment.
4. Google API services disclosure
JAM TECH's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Calendar free/busy data and related OAuth tokens are used solely to provide scheduling features within your organization's JAM TECH workspace. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from Field Settings; disconnecting revokes our ongoing access via the stored connection (and you may also revoke access in your Google Account permissions).
5. How we store and protect data
We host the Service on infrastructure providers (including cloud hosting, databases, and object storage for media). Calendar OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest before storage. We apply access controls so organization data is scoped to that organization's users. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we work to protect information using reasonable administrative and technical measures.
6. Sharing
We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us run the Service (hosting, email/SMS delivery, error monitoring), under obligations to protect data
- Your organization's authorized users (admins and technicians) as needed to operate jobs and customers
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
If your organization is a JAM TECH customer, that organization is the controller of its customer and job records; JAM TECH processes that data to provide the Service.
We do not share, sell, rent, or provide mobile phone numbers, SMS consent, or opt-in data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We provide that information to messaging service providers and carriers only as needed to deliver and support the requested messages.
7. Retention
We retain account and organization data for as long as the organization uses the Service and as needed for backups, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. You or your organization admin may request deletion of account or organization data by contacting us; we will process requests subject to legal and operational requirements.
8. Your choices
- Update profile and organization settings in the Service
- Disconnect calendar providers in Field Settings
- Reply STOP to opt out of SMS, START to re-subscribe after opting out, or HELP for messaging-program support
- Request access or deletion by emailing sales@jamtechs.com
9. Children
The Service is for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at /privacy and revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
11. Related terms
Use of the Service is also governed by our Terms of Service.
